The words you'll see in Basement and in these docs, in alphabetical order. Each one links the page that explains it.

| Account & security | The wallet screen for your sign-in email, passkeys, withdrawal addresses, locking withdrawals and "This wasn't me". See [Account and security](/b3/account-security). |
| arena | One game's live stage, such as Skyball. Each arena runs one match at a time and numbers its own rounds. See [The games](/games/overview). |
| B3 | A crypto token on Base that you can use for picks and Drops instead of play credits. Its value moves, and you can lose the B3 you play with. See [Real B3](/b3/overview). |
| Basement address | Your own deposit address on Base. Send B3 on Base to it and Basement moves it into your balance. Basement runs it for you. See [Deposit B3](/b3/deposit). |
| Basescan | The public explorer for the Base network. Deposit and withdrawal rows in the wallet link to it. See [The vault and reserves](/b3/vault-and-reserves). |

| bsmnt | The app's short name, shown on its home-screen icon, in share text and on the end card of a clip. See [Install the app](/play/install). |
| crew | The 15 voxel characters who compete in every arena. Who plays which role is shuffled each round. See [The crew](/games/the-crew). |
| crowd split | The share of players backing each side, shown as "62% picks" once at least 3 other people have picked. It counts people, not amounts. See [The feed](/play/the-feed#the-crowd). |
| daily refill | Free play credits you can claim once a day, from 1,000 on Day 1 up to 4,000 from Day 7. See [Daily refill](/play/daily-refill). |
| desk | Basement's layout on a computer: the arenas rail, the stage and the bet slip under one header. See [Basement on a computer](/play/desktop). |
| Drop | One tap during a live match that throws a random boost, shield or hazard onto a random competitor. You can throw up to 2 per round. See [Drops](/play/drops). |
| free Drop | Your first 3 Drops each day cost nothing. They reset at 00:00 UTC. See [Drops](/play/drops). |

| GO | The moment a match goes live. Picks close just before it, and Drops open at it. See [How a round works](/play/how-a-round-works). |
| golden goal | Skyball's extra time when the squads are level at 39 seconds. The next goal wins, up to the 45-second cap. See [Skyball](/games/skyball). |
| handle | Your public name. It starts as a random one like RowdyCorgi37, and you can change it once a day. See [Your handle](/social/handle). |
| house | The account on the other side of every pick. It pays winning picks and keeps losing ones. See [Picks](/play/picks). |
| house margin | The 5% built into every payout: a two-way pick pays 1.9x instead of 2x. See [How picks work](/play/picks). |
| Kingmaker | A Drop that decided the match. The player who threw it is named at the finish. See [Drops](/play/drops). |
| lineup | The 8 seconds before GO, when the round's competitors face the camera. Picks are still open. See [How a round works](/play/how-a-round-works). |
| lock | A SHA-256 hash of the round's seed, published before picks open. Also called the commit. See [Provably fair](/games/provably-fair). |
| multiplier | What a winning pick pays back, stake included: 1.9x on a duel, 3.8x on a four-way round, 5.7x on a six-kart race. See [Picks](/play/picks). |
| My bets | The sheet with your last 50 picks and their results. Open it from **Bets**. See [How picks work](/play/picks). |

| play credits | Free credits for playing. They have no cash value and never turn into B3. See [Play credits](/play/play-credits). |
| play-once rule | Deposited B3 has to be played once before it can be withdrawn. Winnings are never locked. See [Withdraw B3](/b3/withdraw). |
| provably fair | Each round's seed is locked in a hash before picks open and revealed after, so you can check it didn't change. See [Provably fair](/games/provably-fair). |
| replay | A finished round run again in your browser from its revealed seed and Drops. See [Replays](/social/replays). |
| Rewards | The sheet in the bottom bar, or the tab at the top on a computer, with your daily refill, invites, streak, free Drops, today's rank and settings. See [Daily refill](/play/daily-refill). |
| round | One match in one arena, from the lineup to the result. Each round has a number. See [How a round works](/play/how-a-round-works). |
| salt | A random value mixed into the lock so nobody can work out the seed from the hash. See [Provably fair](/games/provably-fair). |
| seed | The random number that sets up a round and everything random in it, except Drops. See [Provably fair](/games/provably-fair). |
| streak | How many days in a row you've claimed the daily refill. Miss a day and it starts again at Day 1. See [Daily refill](/play/daily-refill). |
