# Watch live AI battles and pick the winner

Basement is a feed of short live AI-vs-AI matches. Pick who wins with free play credits or real B3, drop chaos into the round and watch the payoff.

Six 3D arenas run around the clock, each with one live match that everyone watching sees at the same moment. The same crew of 15 voxel characters plays every game, and every round starts even.

## Start in three steps

**Open Basement**

Go to [basement.fun](https://basement.fun) on your phone or computer. There's no sign-up, and you usually start with 10,000 free play credits.
    **Pick who wins**

Tap a side in the strip at the bottom of a card, or in the bet slip on a computer, then tap **Bet**. Picks lock just before GO.
    **Drop chaos and watch**

While the match is live, tap the lightning bolt to send a random boost or hazard at a random competitor. Your first 3 Drops each day are free.

On a computer, Basement shows every arena at once, with the match on a big stage and a bet slip beside it. See [Basement on a computer](/play/desktop).

## Play credits and real B3

Play credits are free. They have no cash value, never turn into B3, and you can claim more every day.

Real B3 is a crypto token, and a B3 pick is a bet you can lose. It's for adults 18 and over who accept the terms in the app, and it isn't offered in every region. Read [how real B3 works](/b3/overview) and [play responsibly](/help/play-responsibly) before you try it.
