Where real B3 is available
Real B3 isn't offered everywhere. Where deposits and picks are blocked, why withdrawals still work when you travel, and what a pause means.
Play credits work everywhere. Real B3 depends on where you are. Basement checks your location from your internet connection before every B3 deposit, pick and paid Drop, and the app shows what's available to you.
Where B3 is offered, it's still only for adults 18 and over who accept the in-app terms, and a B3 pick is a bet you can lose. Play credits never turn into B3, wherever you are. See Play responsibly.
What the terms say
Two of the eight lines you accept before playing with B3 are about where you are:
- "You're 18 or older, and B3 games are legal where you live"
- "Not offered in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk"
Both apply. Where Basement doesn't block B3, it's still up to you to make sure B3 games are legal where you live.
Where B3 is blocked today
B3 deposits, picks and paid Drops are blocked in:
- Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria
- Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk and Luhansk
- Connections through Tor
The list is a setting and can change. If Basement can't tell where a connection comes from, it doesn't block it.
What you'll see

Withdrawing while you travel
Withdrawals are blocked only in the sanctioned countries and regions. Anywhere else you can add a withdrawal address and take your B3 out to it, even where B3 play is off. So if you deposit at home and travel somewhere B3 isn't offered, your balance isn't stuck. See Withdraw B3.
When B3 is paused
Sometimes B3 stops for everyone at once, and the wallet says "B3 is paused for a moment. Your balance is safe." A pause can come from:
- The reserves check. Every minute, and right before each withdrawal is sent, Basement compares the B3 in its vault with what its ledger says it holds. If they don't match, B3 pauses by itself, and it resumes once they match again.
- Someone at Basement pausing it on purpose.
- The vault's guardian pausing the vault contract on Base.
While B3 is paused:
- You can't deposit, pick or drop with B3. The B3 coin next to your balance goes away, and tapping Bet with B3 opens the wallet, where the banner explains.
- New withdrawals get "Withdrawals are paused for a moment. Your balance is safe." Withdrawals already in line wait, and one that's already sending still lands.
- B3 picks you placed before the pause settle as usual.
- Play credits keep working.

Account restrictions
Today, region and pauses are the only things that stop B3 for a signed-in player who has accepted the terms. If B3 isn't working for you and neither applies, check Fix common problems or report a problem.
