Every link you share from Basement carries your invite code. When a new player starts from one of your links, you each get 2,000 play credits once their first pick settles, win or lose.

Send an invite

1

Open Rewards

Tap Rewards. The Invite friends card sits under the daily refill. On a computer, Invite friends in the account menu at the top right goes straight to the next step.

2

Tap Invite

It opens your share sheet with the link and the line "Pick the winner with me on bsmnt. Get +2,000 after your first pick." If your browser has no share sheet, the link is copied and you'll see Invite link copied.

3

Send it

Pick an app, or paste the link wherever your friends will see it.

You don't have to use the Invite button. Sharing a match card, a result or a replay adds your code to that link too, so any link you send can bring someone in. See share clips.

How the bonus works

When your friend opens your link and the invite counts, they see a note like @RowdyCorgi37 invited you · +2,000 after a pick, with your handle.

Once their first pick settles, won or lost, you both get 2,000 play credits. A refunded round doesn't count, so the bonus waits for their next pick that settles.

Your friend then sees +2,000 · @RowdyCorgi37's invite paid, and you see a note that they joined. Once friends have joined, your card counts them and shows how many credits your invites have paid you.

Who counts as a new player

An invite counts only when it's plausibly a new person. Your friend's account has to be:

  • Less than 24 hours old
  • Without a settled pick yet
  • Not already counted as anyone's invite
  • Not you

A friend on a network you've used, like your home Wi-Fi, counts at most once every 24 hours. That leaves room for the friend sitting next to you without letting a second browser pass as a new player.

If an invite doesn't count, nothing happens and there's no error. The app doesn't say why. A new browser keeps the first invite code it sees, for up to a week, until it can be claimed.

The daily limit

You're paid for up to 5 new players a day, counted in UTC. That's the Up to 5 friends a day line on the card. Past that, your friends still get their 2,000, but you don't get yours for them that day.

Play credits only

Invite bonuses are always play credits, never B3. Play credits are free, have no cash value and never turn into B3. More in play credits.

Your invite code is the same on every link you share. It carries no login and can't be used to get into your account.
