Basement is entertainment, and a real-B3 pick is a bet you can lose. Set a budget first, take breaks, never chase a loss, and know where to get help.
Basement is entertainment. Play credits are free, so you can watch and pick all day without risking money. A real-B3 pick is a bet, and you can lose the B3 you put in.
The payouts are fixed and carry a 5% house margin. That means the more rounds you play with B3, the more likely you are to end up behind. If it stops being fun, stop.
Before you play with real B3
Set a budget before you open the app
Decide how much B3 you're willing to lose, and stop when it's gone.
Only play with what you can afford to lose
It's the last line of the terms you accept before your first B3 pick, and it's the one that matters most.
Take breaks
Rounds never stop, so the app won't tell you when to stop. Put the phone down between sessions.
Chasing a loss
Every round starts even. A loss doesn't make the next pick more likely to win.
Borrowing to play
Never play with borrowed money or money you need for something else.
How Basement treats a loss
Basement is built to stay quiet when you lose.
- A loss gets one quiet line on the result, with no sound or vibration.
- Notifications are only for wins, your daily refill, and fighters you follow. Basement never sends one about a loss.
- Leaderboards only show players who are up. Your own row never shows a minus.
- Missing a day of the daily refill restarts your streak at Day 1. Nothing else happens.
Limits Basement doesn't have yet
Basement has no deposit limits, loss limits, cool-off periods or self-exclusion today. Until it does, these are the controls you have:
- Stop depositing. Nothing in the app needs a deposit.
- Switch back to play credits by tapping the coin next to your balance at the top of the screen.
- Withdraw. Winnings can leave any time, deposited B3 has to be played once first, and withdrawals start at 1,000 B3 today. See Withdraw B3.
- Sign out. Open Account & security from the bottom of the wallet and tap Sign out everywhere. It signs your account out on every device.
- Turn off notifications. Open Rewards and switch off Notifications, or tap Turn off on any notification.
- Remove the app from your home screen. Your phone's screen-time settings can also block a website.
Real B3 is for adults
You must be 18 or older to play with real B3. Before your first B3 deposit, pick or Drop, the app asks you to confirm it with the checkbox I'm 18 or older and accept these terms. Play credits don't need the terms. The full terms are on Terms and privacy.
